Tsunami Talk
Following on the heels of the successful Mt. St. Helen's evening presentation in November, IMNH will cosponsor a talk about tsunamis with our good friends from the ISU Geology Department.  As before, the Geology Club will be offering home-made goodies as a fund raiser.

Topics:    Physics of tsunami waves and the plate tectonics of the Indian Ocean. Recurrence intervals of earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and landslides, which are the causes  of tsunamis, and the mythology and folklore of natural disasters
